Silver Half Rupee with RY5, but can't identify the ruler or issuer! Weight is 5.76 grams and diameter is 16 mm. Thanking you all :)

Yogabrata,I feel you should take a look at ½ Rupee coins of IPS Broach 

While you are there, you should look at Imtya ud daula (1768-72) for a coin issued INO Shah Alam II.

It could be Broach but where is the evidence for Broach on some of these  though? A helpful clue such as a mintmark, date or part of the Nawabs name is not  there. The mint began during Ahmed Shah Bahadurs reign and continued to Shah Alam ll

 

 the visible script on both sides is standard mughal formula used on countless coins for hundreds of years

Top coin -  bits of ‘manus julus maimanat’ Other side bits of ‘badshah ghazi’
