Strange German 2 Mark made from Lead?

Hello,

I appear to own a lead version with the obverse of this coin:
N#844



I kind of doubt that it is a pattern/test strike, due to how rare they are. Though i don't fully rule it out. 
 

I also doubt that it is meant to be Fake money due to the Reverse not existing. Overall very strange piece i have here.
I would be happy if someone has an idea for what this could be.

+1 or just somebody practicing their lost wax or sand casting techniques. It's a casting using the real coin to make a mold.
