In 1970 the Franklin Mint Issued a third series of their antique Car Coin Collection. Does anybody out there have this collection or have downloaded the 25 different cars?

This one?

Yes, that is the third set. Do you know how to list those coins (medals) on Numista. I do not know how to. Any help on this question will be helpful. Thank you.

They are all already on Numista. Just search for them.

Series 1

Series 2

Series 3

Thank you. Yes I have seen these medals (coins) on Numista. What I would like to know is if the Bronze edition of these tokens have been posted?

These are searches you can do yourself. They are not hard.

Thank you. Your link is for the 1968 Series 1 version of these car sets. Is the 1970 Series 3 version (in Bronze, not silver) coins (medals) anywhere to be found?

I would say no. Do you agree?

I would agree that the bronze coins are not to be found. As I said before, I do not know how to include coins (medals) or I would download my collection of third series bronze medals for everyone to see.

Don't let that stop you. Start here.

A coin, a banknote or a piece of exonumia is missing in the Numista catalogue: what can I do?

The easiest way for these is to begin with an existing page.  For instance if there is a medal the same as this N#374798 but bronze go to the bottom of the page and click the "Duplicate this page" link.  That will create a new page identical to the existing (except for pictures). Go through each section and change what is different (composition, weight, reference, etc.) add the Sources at the bottom and submit. The request will go to the referee (in this case @JLHare for approval or for additional information.

I thought I had this set and had added it to Numista, guess not. As stated above you can add your set using the 25 silver ones. They will be exactly the same except for Composition, weight, edge description, and edge lettering. Then just add your photos and submit. Not sure why this set is so hard to find. According to Guidebook of Franklin Mint Issues the mintage on it is the same as Series 1 and 2. No Aluminum ones were made.

If you're willing to wait a few weeks I might obtain a set and will add it when it comes in.

Thanks for the info. I'm sorry for the delay in replying. What I will do is wait for you to add the cars when you get them. It seems too much work and specs for me to try. Once again, thanks, Simon

Here it is

Thank you for letting me know about these medals (cars). I knew that they were out there; you provided the facts (pictures). My forum issue is now solved.
