Hello ,

Can someone clue me in on the difference between the" Enhanced Uncirculated" and the “Circulation quality not released for circulation (NIFC)”?

Thanks,Chuck

From the Redbook, The San Francisco Mint made Uncirculated S-mintmark quarters in relatively small quantities for collectors, who must purchase them directly from the Mint for a premium above face value. Unlike the Uncirculated S-mintmark Bicentennial quarters, which were silver clad and sold only in sets, S-Mint America the Beautiful™ quarters are of normal composition and are sold in bags and rolls. Thus, the 2012-S coins are considered the first circulation-strike quarters made at San Francisco since 1954. and, For its 225th anniversary, the Mint issued a special set of Enhanced Uncirculated coins from the San Francisco Mint.

I see thank you , I came across one in pocket change probably in F condition 😑😑
