or issuer?

It's correct. That's a search for Issuer to find Ruling Authorities for that issuer.

If you want to search for a ruling authority you can use the browser search. Or make the suggestion to add a second search box for ruling authority.

I better understand, adding a second search box for ruling authority would be a great idea, now filter is quite confusing to me

If I type Republic it seems that only Ruling authorities is filtered and not Issuer even if the label says Issuer filter

Every Issuer in that search has Republic in the name.  " Republic" in those Ruling authorities is just by chance and not because of the search.  Note that South Africa › South Africa (pre-Union) › South African Republic is in that list but the ruling authority does not contain Republic

United States does not show up in that search even though the Ruling authority contains Republic.

Similarly … on top right of that first pictures is Artists

Clicking on it bring up > Engravers and designers [unbelievably]

How many times have I been looking for the Engravers list and not found it?

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

At least put the actual heading in brackets below the first page heading - surely

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

Good idea. I changed the label “Artists” into “Engravers and designers”.

I also changed “Ruler” to “Ruling authority”

@Xavier merci

Looks the same.

Also, what about the idea for a direct search to the Ruling authority in addition to searching for them by Issuer?

@rsirian1 I can see Ruling authorities, maybe a cache problem?

@Xavier it's still not clear to me

if you filter Issuers in the main interface  you find Carolingian Empire https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php

if you filter in Issuers  you can't find Carolingian Empire as you filter Ruling authorities

 https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pays.php

moreover you can't filter by Ruling authorities but only by Issuer in Ruling authorities  page https://en.numista.com/catalogue/rulers.php

I think the best would be to be able to filter both By Issuer and by Ruling authorities in both pages

Not a cache problem as I cleared it and also tried it on two browsers that I don't use for Numista. But, as of this morning (now here) it's been changed.

Yes, exactly, which was the main intent of this “Implemented” suggestion and that I asked about in this post https://en.numista.com/forum/topic164545.html#p1268950

Maybe have to start a new suggestion post to get it addressed?

@rsirian1 sorry, I didn't understand you already pointed it out, repetita iuvant 😉

Sorry I forgot some parts. It should be effective tomorrow.

You'll find Kingdom of Italy too below, in the section “Ancient and early medieval polities”
