20 cent finland 2002 extra metal error.

Hello everyone,

I recently came across this 20 euro cent coin and noticed what appears to be a possible minting error.  Some distortions also appear around the map design near France and Italy.

The coin has been in circulation and shows signs of wear, but the defect looks original and not post-mint damage.

I'd really appreciate your thoughts on:

Whether this is indeed a genuine minting error,

How rare this type of error might be,

The coins from Finland were never well quality wise and their quality control was lousy. On many Finnish coins you find cuds or filled dates. You'll see some of mine here, more to come!
