I have been looking at Insurance for my collection.  One company is saying that their valuation of items when a claim is made is based on Sphinx -30%.   Anyone expain what Sphinx is?

It’s a catalogue isn’t it? With coin values.

 

Just looked on internet, there is a Spink, maybe that is what they meant.

 Agreed. With yourself being in the UK it sounds like Spink's catalogue. 

They are based in Bloomsbury, London.
