Danish 2 øre 1957 different dates

Thoughts on these different dates? varieties?

Interrested in nordic numismatic history, and european history overall.

Always looking for damaged, holed or even unidentifyable coins.

No, in my opinion they are not. When you have mother dies with 19 or 197 already on it, the last numbers are applied by hand when a new “working” die is needed, and that's the reason why we find many “varieties” on the last digits on coins.

It's a long and unresolved discussion, if we should say “variant” in the sense of opening a sub-type or not. The collectors of US coins have the same problem with the mint marks, mostly, lucky enough, they are just documented, but NOT assigned sub-types.

Edit: 19 or 195, of course

My goal here is not for it to be created another date-line on the page, but just to document different noticable variables.
I personally agree that with the US coins there are too many un-noticable variants.
Variants where you cannot purely see by eye, I do not care much about.

On the year in question you cannot see the differences, if you only have one 2 øre from 1957, how do you assign it to a variety type? If you can't, then it's of no use.
