New variant: 5 pence 2010 '1 cord stops and one cord passes frame'?

Discussion about United Kingdom • 5 Pence - Elizabeth II (4th portrait; Royal Shield, non-magnetic)

Dear all,

While looking for the varieties on the United Kingdom • 5 Pence - Elizabeth II (4th portrait; Royal Shield, non-magnetic), I noticed a possible new variety on the 2010 dated coin: 1 cord clearly stops at the frame and 1 cord clearly passes the frame. There seem to be 3,5 horizontal rows with the rest of the rows angled, like with the variant '2 cords stop at the frame'.

What do you think about this?

Looking forward to your replies.

Best regards,

Gerebernus

I did, but in my example the bottom most cord crosses the frame and does not stop at the frame, which is why I described it as  ‘1 cord clearly stops at the frame and 1 cord clearly passes the frame’ in stead of the already known ‘2 cords stop at the frame’. Or is this the same type? If so, why call it ‘2 cords stop at the frame’ if one of the cords clearly crosses it?
