Explanation of the different coin grades [solved]

4 posts • viewed 99 times

When you add a coin to your collection on the site you can choose the ‘’grade'' VG, F, VF, XF, AU and UNC.

Except for maybe 1 or 2 none of my coins have been professionally graded, however i would like to be able to guess/estimate the quality of my coins myself.

So could someone perhaps give me a ballpark explanation of each grade? (so i have a rough guide to go by.)

On top right of any page is  ?FAQ  section.

What you seek is in there somewhere - will have a look …
