Hi,
This might be a sensitive topic, but i'd like to ask the question anyway.
I see lots of great work by the community on all sorts of pages, and having Xavier who is so active in coordinating improvements is really amazing. It really is a living community here, and i love it.
A lot of people rely on Numista for their collection, and it's one of, if not THE best numismatic resources on the web.
With that in mind, i'm wondering how Future proof Numista is, and how resilient the organisation will be in case of mishaps.
Let's say, worst case (and we of course absolutely hope this never happens), Xavier, or one of the mayor developers, gets hit by a bus tomorrow and doesn't survive.
Are there protocols and safeguards in place to ensure Numista remains functional and can continue to grow and expand?
How are risks and mitigations for these risks assessed?
Is there a foundation behind numista, similar to how wikipedia does it, or how is this legaly organised?
…
It would be a pitty to loose all of this in case of a mishap.
