There is nothing on that link mentioning it -
care to explain to members what we are supposed to be looking at?
If you are refering to the modified effigy im afraid its not all that rare for 1927, I'm afraid theres not very many scarce ones besides 33 but i think youd be off to the bahamas already with one of those :)
plus, and I’m sorry to say, this coin looks like it has been cleaned with a Brillo pad or a wire brush. It has that horrible cleaned copper look with many tiny scratches all over it, what ever grade it once was it now has harshly cleaned as a caveat.
i personally would throw it away to stop it being passed around by collectors.
Im sorry gentlemen.
I did some research before i posted this "question" about this coin from my grandfathers father.
But i need you, because youre the experts.
And i am still guessing about this.
And i am now also very ashamed to have cleaned the coin. But it was not with a brush but with a special jewelry cleaning cloth.
The coin sides are also stamped obverse
I will ask my same question again -
there is nothing on that link to say what the
‘very rare reverse die version’ is …
Help us to help you - and explain …
Nothing about it on these either >
I am sorry sir 😅
My English is worse than i thought.
I have placed the links in the description.
Is this what you ment?
Thanks. I see those new pictures - and I recognise them - they are mine -
I added them [7 years ago] to this page they are on >
N#578 [Years 1911-1926]
and maybe you did not read what I wrote above them.
They are on that 1911-1926 because it refers to a rare 1922 variety.
Your link and message refer to a 1927 coin.
The rarity is on a 1922 not a 1927 coin.
😊

Bedankt.
😊
I think ZacUK has it solved, but you can always ask in your native language. I believe you are in Belgium, we have a lot of users who are multilingual, French and Dutch. My Dutch is a little rusty, but I should be fine with French :)

Reference the other coins, keep that jewellery cloth away from the silver and gold coins - there are some nice ones there and you don’t want to degrade them by rubbing the cloth over them.
As for the penny, don’t worry as it wasn’t worth much before you cleaned it and I doubt the cloth did the scratches - it just made it look that horrible cleaned colour.
Thanks for the advies. 🙂

The Heaton and kings Norton varieties are worth a little bit more that the standard but not by much
Is also worth more if this is an obverse stamped coin like mine? 🙂
Sorry for the doubled post. 😅
