Hi everyone,

I have this coin. I need more information about the price of the coin

ghantousde

What coin do you have? Can you tell us? Link to the page? Picture? Country? Anything?

It has around 720,- euro of gold in it, I guess that is somehow the value,
if we are talking about the same coin, ofcourse.

...you can run,  but you can't hide...

But says nothing about 3-7- if we are talking about the same coin, ofcourse.

That is on the coin. #N16577

No it isn't.

The member only created two topics so far -

both about the same coin - for some reason. 😵‍💫

This is the other one, with pictures >

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

There is no page for it, seemingly >

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?e=guernesey&r=25+2001&st=147-150-149&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&c=&wi=&sw=

Also notice those two pages are both KM# 107 which I thought there

was some system on here that did not allow duplicate catalogue numbers -

or at least it gave a warning. The pictures shown look more like the first coin.

From that, looks like the second coin in that search

has the wrong KM number, so will change it.

‘25 pounds queen Victoria 3-7-1901’ topic title

The confusing 3-7 is an error, and is a mis-reading on the date on the unclear picture

of the first [Feb 2024] topic - where that has the correct title

‘Elizabeth ii Bailiwick of Guernsey 2001, queen Victoria 1837-1901 25 pounds gol’

as on there the first picture has something obscuring part of the date -

so 1837 is mis-read in this second topic as 3-7 instead.

Then knowing that, this is the link [1837-1901] so the page does exist

N#16577

From there - Mintage 2,500 - Bullion value: GBP 625.29

That is the value I see - each member gets to see it in their own currency.

This is the coin that I own…

Funny you should mention that. In fact the system promotes and generates this type error. I've commented on it several times. Finally I opened a suggestion a few days ago to change it:  https://en.numista.com/forum/topic163631.html

In short, using one page to create a new one (Duplicate this page) retains all the references from the existing page.

I remember reading that, and agreeing.

The two sections that surely should not be duplicated on a second page -

· catalogue number

· reverse - pictures, description, lettering

Currently everything is kept except for the Obverse/Reverse pictures, even the comments related to the duplicated coin.  The references are the only area that seem to cause repeated problems. Maybe just too easy to overlook?
