Do you know what Swiss? medal is this? [solved]

My friend asked me about this silver medal and I tried to research, but I found literally no information.

It looks a commemorative medal for a coin convention in Basel, but the style and the case look more Polish or Czechslovakia.

Does anyone know about this?

No pictures visible [to me anyway] - just two small coloured squares, as shown.

That is the correct forum, so suggested to try again on there.

Coin information and questions › Exonumia identifications and valuations

As even from the title it is a medal [exonumia not a coin], and identification is requested.

Same problem here, at first. Opened each in new tab and then they showed up. Not OP's fault.

 Thanks :)

Google image search gave this:

Found it!

Thanks - was trying to read the name  KO????KY  and that page says

Classification - Czechoslovakia (1960-1989)

Author - Z. Kolářsky

Diameter - 33 mm

So yes, even though made for Switzerland it was correct to write >

‘but the style and the case look more Polish or Czechslovakia’.

Thank you all, it is very helpful!

I decide to think this is a medal issued by Czechoslovakia for the 2nd international coin fair in Basel, 1973.

Thank you all again!
