So has anybody looked closely at the mintage for this coin?  I know the folks at Krause NEVER make mistakes, but 485,000 ?  I don't have a Schon catalog that covers 1981 - so if anyone can check this reference, I would appreciate it.  If Schon just copied the Krause number, then they are BOTH suspect.  Tonga's previous FAO 1 Pa'anga coins topped out at 25,900.  So the jump to nearly half a million seems a  s t r e t c h .

This coins shows up WAY less than the other 1 Pa'anga coins on eBay.  It just looks fishy to me.  Can this number be corroborated through any other sources ?  Could the bulk of the mintage been held back and not released ?  Hmmmm ………      TC

Look again.

I like the new tab below the coin info, stating 200 sale offers - not a single one is of this coin 😂

And before you all jump in, I know this is an eBay problem not Numista.

“Look again”  um..   at what exactly ?  I still am hoping for any other references besides Krause .  TC

Schön says mintage is 15.000 and that indeed makes much more sense than the 485.000 Krause says, so thank you very much for pointing this out.
