 Why only show one side?

Why show 31 coins in one picture - way too many.

Supposed to be one coin, one picture.

Example - top right - all information on other side -

nobody can tell anything from that >

All the others - for what it is worth :(

The sixpence from Fiji (coin #12) should be obvious at least:
N#6268

Coin #11 is from Ethiopia, I’m guessing the 5 santeem:
N#4760

Coin #10 is 10 centimos from Spain:
N#672

Material, weight and thickness are also important, for exemple the coin "1" is supposed to be silver, diameter 28,4mm, weight 11,3g, thickness 2mm. If one of these characteristics is wrong for your coin then your coin is a replica.

From coin 14 to 31, they are nice fantasy replica of old silver greek coins.

I see a lot of modern replicas of Greek coins

Vic

6 - cider tree from Lebanon and bottom lettering tells it

N#11265

7 and 9 is one of the United Arab Republics. Syria or Egypt, circa 1959 Gregorian calendar.

2 and 4. Only one country on this planet got that head stuck somewhere in the desert. 1954-1958 Gregorian. They have actual year written next to head in Gregorian and Arabic calendar in Eastern Arabic numerals. They switched to different coat arms later.

5 N#395621 or Madagascar. Other side tells the story. Date does not fit Madagascar.

Sun never sets in … France. 8 is probably from same area. Madagascar was under France in search. Djibuti was not there.

This region of the "Horn of Africa" is also very interesting in philately where the different entities and colonists who succeeded one another did not have the means or the time to issue coins but issued lots of stamps :)

Obock Territory - French Colonies &Territories (1884-1894)

Derg - Provisional Military Government of Socialist Ethiopia (1974-1987)

Ethiopia part of Italian East Africa (1935-1941)

Somalia B.M.A. - British military admin. (1948-1949)

Eritrea B.A.  - British Admin. Eritrea (1949-1952)

Eritrea B.M.A. - British military admin. (1948-1949)

Middle East Forces (1942-1947)

Etc…

So without picture of the other side, weights or dimensions, I am having a good guess but still needs to be verified
