Unidentified gold pieces

Hi everyone!

I found this round, pendant-like object that might be an ancient coin or a decorative token. I’ve attached images.

Front side: Worn, unclear details—no legible markings or date.

Back side: Features a figure on horseback (possibly a warrior or royal), holding a staff or spear, surrounded by a decorative braided border.

The surface looks gold-plated, possibly over a brass or copper alloy base. I couldn’t find any hallmark. It seems more ornamental than currency.

Dimensions & weight (approx.):

• Insert diameter in mm here

• Weight in grams here

I’d greatly appreciate any help identifying its origin, era, and whether it holds any historical or collectible value.

Thanks in advance!

It is a religious pendant, where a Saint holding a cross is

carrying someone on his shoulder, across a river. There was

something similar on here a while ago - will find that and a name …
