Copper collector / Stacker.

I have two 1 ounce silver 2022 Canadian maple leaf coins I am willing to trade for copper bullion and or rounds…. I would also consider copper bullion from the world.

How much copper would you be looking to trade for the two silver coins?

I am not sure at this point…. But some one made a very excellent point … the amount of copper would be difficult to send via mail 😢 I am think of donating them to a church. 

Yah thats a good point. Copper is WAY up over the last few years but so is silver. I used an on-line calculator to estimate the swap values and looks like a fair trade would be about 120 troy ounces of copper per silver bullion coin.  That would fit in a medium flat-rate USPS priority mailbox but postage for that is about $17 so probably not worth the trouble. Oh, well!

My advice is to hang on to the maple leafs.

You can get copper bullion rounds and ingots. 

The problem is you'll pay a premium sometimes exceeding melt value. To me, that's a rip off. 

A better solution is to pull out copper coins as you find them. Local banks are a source. No premium, and a lot more interesting.

Could swap you a bunch of “world copper” if you like, would be much lower premium than buying .999 fine copper
