I got this in an auction, I couldn't see any reference to this medal in the Internet.

Any reference and value estimation would be of help.

Metal - Silver

Weight - 30.84 g

Size - 44 mm

In the Original box

As it is a medal then it should not be in this coin section -

try https://en.numista.com/forum/forum35.html instead.

Hi,

A nice find, the 1909 IInd CANTONAL AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITION in LUCERNE left very few information on the Web and even in Lucern's archives :

(From the local newspaper - in German)

I've seen a same kind of medal for the 11th exhibition in Lucerne too (1954, made by Huguenin, obverse differs, Bronze D = 40 mm - G = 50.8 Gramm) sold for 28 CHF on a local auction site.

Any maker's mark or name on yours ? (Check under the left foot of the farmer and on the edge?)

No, as such I couldn't see any names there but the ground texture.

There is no worn out signs also, so certainly

And this is the only thing which looks a bit odd in the whole die of this side. A solid blob almost in the middle of the medal.

Any idea on the approximate value of it? Since I dont see much of a reference about this item, we can consider that this is the only piece available now?

Hi,

The only piece available so far.

And as always it's hard to define a price someone would pay for such a medal, I was not able to find references about this particular one nor auction here in Switzerland.

From the weight in silver, @1.23 USD / g the price has to be above 38 USD.

Rare shooting medals dated 1900-1920 can reach 300 CHF (375 USD) price (and above).

Depending on how fast you would like to sell it I would put a price tag between 45 and 80 CHF (60 - 100 USD)

This one https://www.auctiones.ch/browse.html?auction=58&lot=14310  was estimated 75 CHF

Having a catalogue reference of the medal would help, and I am not "the" expert, a referee from the site would help more I guess.

Have a great day

Hubert
