I've talked about this in some other topics, but never made a formal request.

Currently, the list of issuers is very extensive because it combines everything into one single list.

Many collectors have no interest in banknotes or exonumia (or vice versa), so what collectors really need is a way to filter out those unwanted issuers from the 10K+ entries.

A simple filter option would solve the problem completely.

Example:

Why not?

Thank you for any comment.

+1 Before the 3 catalogs were combined the issuers for coins, banknotes and exonumia were listed independently.

We currently have five types of items in Numista (Coins, Tokens, Medals, Banknotes, and Paper Exonumia).

It might be helpful to have a filter that allows you to select more than one option (perhaps someone wants to know which issuers have coins and tokens in their catalog, or coins and medals, etc.)

Perhaps the selection could go even further, and be able to select issuers that have "official necessity coins" for example...

Coin referee for: Andorra, Equatorial Guinea, Marshall Islands, Moldova, Liberia and Spain
Banknote referee for: Andorra, Equatorial Guinea and Spain

I would like to have the option to display by default only issuers defined earlier (multichoice), similar like we have with coins/banknotes/medals.

I'm interested only in circulation, commemorative and non-circulation coins from 10-20 countries only. Today, I need to look at all or one by one country only (fortunatley some issuers are grouped within one country so less filters to check).

Update: oynbcn, we both write similar idea on the almost same time.

I found it much easier to find things when numista was divided into the three sub-catalogues, Banknotes, Coins, Exonumia, which the Forum still reflects.

Having an option to select  Banknotes, Coins, Exonumia, Medals would indeed be a useful enhancement.
