When my gran recently passed she left a small bag of coins. This one is a puzzle and I can’t figure it out.
its likely UK but she has the odd foreign coin.
it is 36/37mm wide and weighs 23g. Limited marking other than the edge is rounded, not flat.
any info would be cool.

Hello. Not looking very good for a coin from UK . You might have a chance for identification if you can take pictures in focus.

Tried my best but the phone struggled with it. Maybe it was the user but it didn’t seem to focus at all

Maybe try having a white paper below so the phone has nothing else to focus on.

It was in this mixed bunch of old stuff. I think it’s cool but I don’t know much as you can tell

With that thing being in, lets be honest, less then basal state a loss of even 20% is possible. Also faint remnants of the bust and Britannia are visible (at least in my imagination).

I can't argue against it.

At least the ship on lower left is in the correct position.

And the wide rim:
But why hang on to something like that for so long?

To show the grand-children what huge-sized coins there used to be.

Honestly, a lot of the stuff she kept probably belonged to my Granddad who died in 1980. Likely just sentimental. these too
