We discussed this last year but it seems that, whilst Guatemala was sorted out, Chile still needs fixing. The following changes were proposed.
Combine Real (1541-1817) and Republic Real (1817-1852) into Real (1541-1852), since there was no currency reform in 1817. The description would be 8 Reales = 1 Peso, 16 Reales = 1 Escudo.
Change Old peso (1835-1959) to Peso (1835-1959) since “old” doesn't appear on the coins or notes. The description would be 100 Centavos = 10 Décimos = 1 Peso, 10 Pesos = 1 Condor. We don't need to mention the real or escudo since they are all in the Real (1541-1852) currency.
Change New peso (1975-date) to Peso (1975-date) since “new” doesn't appear on the coins or notes.
The only outstanding issue was the pesos struck between 1817 and 1834 (8 reales resumed production in 1837). However, as long as we include peso in the description of the real, this shouldn't be a problem.
