When I click on an image of an object (coin or banknote) it does not enlarge. Is it only me?

When I open any page, when I click on one of the photos to enlarge it, only the arrows are visible, no image appears. This happens to me on two computers and on the cell phone. So yes, something is happening ;)

Any messages appear in your browser's error console when it happens?
(I was going to suggest Troubleshoot mode, but that probably won't help if the problem happens on your cell phone.)
Is you cell phone connected to the same house WiFi as the computers? What happens if you turn off WiFi and use cellular service?

Hi, although my PC and phone are on the same Wi-Fi, Xavier has already explained why this was happening only to me.
Since I'm not sure if I should explain, I'll mention @Xavier in case he wants to explain what happened.
Thanks for addressing my issue.

It seems to happen after what this site considers “too many requests”. It's most annoying and I bope it is fixed soon. Too many requests shall be in the range of thousands, not 10-20

No. Just my WiFi or my mobile data. Nothing special. After looking at ~10 coins, photos won't enalrge and if I open in a new tab,

What annoys me mostly is that this behaviour is deliberate. It's not a bug, it's just a badly managed scenario.

I have never seen that message and I look at many times ~10 coins in a short time.
Edit: Except for now after I had turned on my VPN.
which stopped after I turned off my VPN.
