I came into some coins

9 posts • viewed 210 times

Hey, I am new here, first post. I am sure no one here has ever had this happen. But a family member passed away a few years ago and his wife gave me a manila envelope full of coins. I want to post a few here. I have been researching and trying to figure them out. He also travelled the world.  So I am trying to decide what would be worth my time, effort and money to send in for appraisal and valuation. Also where do I send them? And do they seem to be legit or are they novelty items passed out to tourists? My head is spinning from all the info out there. I have invested in in a scale and magnifier with this new adventure. So now I would appreciate any new insights you may have to help me move forward. Thank you in advance!
