please help me identify this medail. [solved]

diameter: 1.88 cm

 Even though first picture looks like an armoured man facing left, 

the poor lettering may be MARIA MATER or similar. 

 Other side looks like someone on the left sitting at a table, 

and someone standing on the right. Again poor lettering, unfortunately. 

 Though most likely a French jeton made in Nuremberg, Germany.

 Found it - the reverse shows the Three Wise Men

Surrounded by Latin legend and denomination in exergue.

Translation: Saints Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar / Token

 

Engraver: Höger, Albrecht (1735-1789)

Edge: Smooth.
