Australian penny error

Hello, new to the site, but I have collected coins since I was little, although not so actively now.  Anyway, i was looking more closely at some of my parents old coins, and found this double die looking error on a 1952 Australian penny.  What do you think it's worth might be?

Welcome to Numista!

There a different types of doubling, some rather common (machine doubling or mechanical doubling) and not worth much.  https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/5688/Double-Dies-vs-Machine-Doubling/

I believe it's more than machine doubling.  A double date variety is known for this coin.

Maybe @brismike knows more?

It is nothing special really, ones like this pop up occasionally. You might get 4 or 5 Dollars for it (Australian dollars that is) on a good day at an Aussie coin swap meet.
