I've been after adding some hammered coins to my collection for years but been put off by the cost, I've just managed to get myself three from a larger joblot of coins and wondering if anyone would be able to ID them, I've ordered some books to help but unlike my regular collection (world silver coins) these things are a completely new experience for me.

I've labelled them A B & C, A & B are about 17 - 18mm across and the smaller one, C is about 15mm

Thanks :)

usually named “Liard à l'H couronné - Henri III”

B- Numista image search  leads to ½ Penny england and luxembourg.

Better defined pictures are deemed necessary.

A - Please provide better pictures.

Thank very much, here's both sides of A

And better images for B

Much better !

Both are CIVITAS

B is Edward (what town ?)

A is surprising with the flower at the center.

Thank you very much for your time and help. Much appreciated.

Yes, B is Edward and the mint is possibly Durham, there are 3 rulers and many mints to chose from, I'll send a link to Edward coins varieties when I'm back home

Thanks radrick007 that would be great, I didn't realise just how hard getting into hammered coins would be compared to moderns.

A really valuable resource from an eminent detectorist/numismatist.

Yes: CIVITAS DVR EME

Concerning the strange flower at the center of the cross, for coin-A, I found this surprising coin on Alamy

Then more seriously, the mint for coin A is York : CIVI-TAS EBO-RACI

Similar to this one :
