In the past month I've gotten some many desirable coins, such as a German 1874 E Mark, an official San Marinese mint set (with box and COA), and some many old silver US coinage, all for little to nothing (the San Marinese set was only $2). The irony is that I don't really care for these coins, and I keep them because they're part of my collection. If I am able to sell them for big bank, however, I'd rather do that than let them sit there in my collection, when I could be buying more Japanese and Chinese coins.
What desirable coins do you have in your collection that you don't really care about?

Yeah I know my man ! I've seen a couple to be fair I haven't really tried to get one that hard.. The dollar jumped out at me at a cheap price so I took it, I need a George issue now though ha !
It is true about most countries 50c is a hard coin to find I think mainly because 1-25c were the backbone of the economy, so you'll find. They have higher mintage figures I found this with Canada that most 50c coins. In the GV era have a low mintage figure and so do the dollars. I think that because the dollar was the high denomination a lot of people kept them and in a good condition so the "work horses" are often scarcer in better grades too !
I haven't got any anymore nobody wants my swaps exept the few who collect what I do or estranged countries I probably would be ideal to setup a swap with someone who is just starting to collect world coins !
I don't know how many if most people like them or not but I find most colored coins butchered coins.
