For the ruling authority of Soviet China, I'm thinking all we need might be the following:
soviet_china
Period
Socialist Republic
1927-1949
It works with what Wiki says was the overall government:

And while no one territory lasted for this exact date-range, it was always the Chinese Community Party in control of these fractured areas, with these smaller areas always being part of something bigger. So… I don't think the date range should be too much of a problem. Although, if we do need more specific date-ranges for the smaller areas, I can provide those:)
