Hello, and I hope you are well!

I am the referee for both Central Asia (ancient), and the Central Asian half of the issuer “Central Asia & Caucasia”. I would like to request the separation of these two regions into two distinct 1st lvl issuers, “Central Asia” and “Caucasia”. These regions are very distinct in culture, history, and numismatics in particular. I feel that lumping them together does a disservice to the coinage of both regions. I have already discussed this decision with my peer who refs for the Caucasian half of the issuer, and he has agreed with my take on this.

From what I understand of how the Numista catalog operates, the most efficient way to facilitate this split would be by renaming “Central Asia & Caucasia” to just “Central Asia”. “Caucasia” already exists as a 2nd lvl issuer, so it could be brought out from under Central Asia's banner and made a 1st lvl issuer in it's own right. This way, ref permissions remain effectively unchanged, and no new issuers need to be created.

Have a wonderful day!

This is done, although it might take few days until you see it in effect.
