Issuer filter for the literature section

Hello,

I suggest adding a filter by issuer for the literature section, making it easier to find books focused on a specific country or region.

Additionally, when a book covers one or more specific coins from a particular country, it would be helpful to allow the addition of that country as an issuer. For instance, the request to add Switzerland as an issuer for this book was declined.

Is there an appeal process for literature edits?

No, I've been told that the subjects should match the focus of the book or article. The subject of Swiss coins is not be the main theme but only the 5 francs of a particular artist. So apparently you can't add the ‘coins’ theme or the ‘Swiss’ issuer. But I don't think that makes much sense.

I think it’s important to mention the issuer, even if just for a few selected coins. Also, if we can filter by issuer, it would be much easier to find books that focus on the coins of a specific country.

In addition to the issuer, it would be good to be able to filter by date, theme, issuing authority, etc. 

Is this something that’s planned or not at all?

I believe it would be extremely helpful to have the ability to search by specific region, country, theme or type. For example, collectors interested in a particular area such as United Kingdom medals, French coins or Bavarian banknotes would greatly benefit from being able to filter and sort books that cover those topics. It would make the search process much more efficient.
