Identification of 1817 Death of Princess Charlotte Token

3 posts • viewed 41 times

I have a token that commemorates the passing of Princess Charlotte, but the Reverse has the weeping willow facing left (instead of right as examples found in Numista).  The pedestal supporting the urn is also missing the “C” found in other examples. Is this a genuine token or is this a variance? thanks in advance for any insights. The coin is 25.4 mm in diameter, 1.4 mm thick and weighs 5.13 grams.

Welcome to Numista!

In the future please post questions about tokens in the exonumia forum.

I'll leave the question to those more knowledgable.

My apologies for posting in the incorrect forum (I did not realize there were separate forums, so I learned something new today) and thank you for moving it to the appropriate group. All the best.
