German mine token, or something else [solved]

Hello experts

I do not speak german

And I got this token in a lot of mixed coins, a brief research looks like a mine or something like that.

Can this be confirmed as a Mine token, so I could add to the catalog?

Tried to find others online with no luck

27mm

1.96g

Thank you for any comment

Hi,

not an expert, but “Grube" means ”Mine" or “pit” and Wachtberg is a town in Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia)

Still need to find a mine in this location to be 100% sure.

Very nice masters,

I guess it is obviously a mine token then.

Will att to the catalog

Thank you very much!

Wachtberg is a small region in NRW south of Bonn I think, Frechen is a Town or village near Köln…

Grube Wacht berg, could mean the pit watch mountain literally the mountain of waste from the mine/pit which people observe from. Observe what, no idea, but Wachtberg isn’t necessarily the place, Frechen on the other hand doesn’t mean anything else as far as I know, it is not like Pfennig or Groschen.
