The Other marks field documentation just says “the different marks used on the coin”. Two problems:
- It's used for medals as well as coins.
- It should give a hint as to what type of marks are include. Mint master, mint officials, assayer initials, Pobjoy mint “die letters”, … (I'm not even sure of the range of the marks included.)
