First of all, I want to congratulate the people who develop and maintain Numista for their excellent work, and also thank them for making it available to everybody for free.

Numista recently introduced new private data fields, including one that I find particularly useful: the coin storage location. Until now, I've kept this information in private comments, but it wasn't an optimal solution.

Now that we have this storage location, I think we could take advantage of it by some additional implementations:
1. Use the storage location as a filter criterion:

2. Assign or modify the storage location of several coins at once, to avoid having to do it one by one, especially when many coins are affected. For example, if I have 100 coins from one country in a case C-1, and I move them to another, C-2, it would be very tedious to edit the storage location of all the coins one by one.

I hope you find these suggestions interesting and that we'll soon see them implemented in Numista.

Best regards,
Gaspar Martínez

Hello,

It's now possible to filter your collection by storage location. We don't have mass-edit of collection though.

Bad news. Could you please reconsider in the future?

Thanks anyway.

Let's use the following thread to track the idea of batch editing in the future: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic83620.html

Hello,

That's a great implementation, but would be nice to have a drop-down list of all the storage locations, because now when i click on it, it just shows 5-6 options, and if I can't remember when i stored my coins i can't even search them. Same for Aquisition place. That's valid in both “My collection” and “Add to my collection” box.
