The new fields in the collection file card window are in developed but this suggestion would involve non-basic modifications. Also, other suggestions have already been posted.😁

Now, the fields are displayed in this order in the collection file card window:

Variety *
Grade
Quantity
Buying value **
Acquisition place **
Acquisition date **
Private comment **
For exchange
Public comment
Collection
Pictures or private PDF documents ***
Grading
Storage location **
Internal ID **
Size
Weight
Axis

* Unique field always displayed
** Private fields
*** Field with public (pictures) and private (PDF) items

I have three suggestions about the order of the fields, some selective.

1. Sort the content of the “Displayed fields” box

I moved fields between the “Hidden fields” and “Displayed fields” boxes, and they were added at the last options of the boxes. The original order is not saved.

Could the fields in boxes be sorted according to the order they are displayed in the collection file card window?

2. Group/order the fields based on their privacy

Also do suggestion 1.

For example, the private fields at the bottom

3. Display fields using user-defined order

Allow member to sort fields in the “Displayed fields” box, and use this order in the collection file card window.

Yes, I very much would like to be able to reorder the fields! They don't currently line up in the order in which I add data, which means a lot of jumping around and often leads to mistakes or missing data. I have ADHD, so anything that helps improve flow is super beneficial!
