Please help to identify token from World War II [solved]

I think this token from Belgium. But not found any info or catalog number. Please help me. Thanks, Ruslan.

Looks like a dog pendant. 

Today pets are chipped, but not long ago each had its own pendant like this.

Absolutely, German occupation of the city (Stadt) of Melmedy in Belgium. Dog registration tag.

If it tag for dog. Who mint it, dog-petty owner??? It is not news for me, dig on photo easy… 

The German 3rd reich made it whilst in occupation of Belgium in the 2 world war. An owner of a dog would have had to register that dog with the local authority. Once registered the number would be stamped on and the dog would have had to have worn it around its neck. We know it was the German occupiers because the word “Stadt“ is German for town/city and it is not written in French.

If you want the dog's/owner's identity, try Malmedy veterinary service - they might have the records, although I doubt it.
