Series dedicated to the Chinese zodiac. The Chinese zodiac is a traditional classification scheme based on the Chinese calendar that assigns an animal and its reputed attributes to each year in a repeating twelve-year cycle. Chinese folkway held that one's personality is related to the attributes of their zodiac animal. The twelve zodiac signs are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.
The series consists of coins of different denominations and composition (silver and gold), minted by Lithuanian Mint from 2022. The obverses depict the ruling authority, and the reverses depict, in a small circle pattern, the head of zodiac animal for the issuing year.
