Found this in a box of stamps recently. I suspect it's some sort of pre-WW2 military sports award (???).
Just found these coins/tokens yesterday amongst a bag of mixed coins and wondered if anyone can help me identify them (before most of them go in the round file 🤧). To say they are ‘somewhat worn’ would be the understatement of the year so far. All of them are approx. 20mm wide:
Obv: A large C or G, followed by mcerc (???), St Shore (???)
Rev: 68 above, star R star II star
Sorry, this is the best I can do with these - the one on the right is quite thick (1.1mm), whilst all of the others are very thin. The one on the left appears to have a hat.
Also, this…
… in a bit better condition, although very fragile.

Following the French withdrawal from Ciudad Rodrigo, the bulk of the Allied army was
able to retire into winter quarters for three months' rest. General Hill, in command of
the southern army, decided to make a sudden advance into Spain south of the river Tagus
before settling for the winter. By a series of hard marches and skilful manoeuvres,
Hill was able to destroy a French force of 2,500 at Arroyo del Molinos returning with
1,300 prisoners and at a cost of just over 100 of the Anglo-Portuguese force.

Possible match? Although the lettering is rotated on the Rev and a slight difference in spelling - (from MoL centre top clockwise) it seems to read BLCIBT EWICK GOTES REICH

Indeed. I got it mainly to see what it all said, as overall it was in not too good a condition! Thanks
