Help with Identification needed. C• G LVRE✿ NOVRSL✿ MAIOR✿ 1657★ (?) [solved]

Hi everybody,

I have come into posession of this old coin, medal or token. Sadly i was unable to match it with an object in the digital catalogs. Help towards identification would therefore be greatly appreciated! I have added a description, several pictures and data of the object. 

General Data: Wight approx. 2,34 gramms, Diameter ca. 21-22mm. I am not sure about the composition but the look and feel makes me think that it might be billion or copper. 
 

Side 1: Better side with the big letters C • G in the Middle with a small R. beneath the C. Inscription  around the Center (as i would read it): LVRE ✿NOVRSL ✿MAIOR ✿1657 ★ (The date is worn so i am not 100% sure that its that exact date…)

Side 2: Sadly quite worn. Looks like there is a big shield in the middle. The only parts of the incription around it that i can clearly make out:
__CHA_ _ F (★ or ✿) FO_N__

Möglicherweise ein französischer Jeton. Konnte aber auch nichts dazu finden, weder mit Numista noch Google.

Vieleicht nochmal auf der englishen Seite posten (Coin identifications and valuations) damit es mehr Leute sehen und wenn da Französische Jetons zur Sprache kommen nochmal im Französischen Teil von Numista probieren (Identifications et évaluations de pièces).

Vielen Dank für die Mühe. Ich habe es jetzt gerade endlich nach mehreren Suchen mit Google Lens doch noch gefunden. Es handelt sich um eine Britische Handelsmarke aus Gloucester shire. Die Inschrift ist auch ein bisschen anders als ich sie erkennen konnte. Es heißt LVKE NORSE MAIOR. Daher wurde es erst nicht auf google gefunden. 

Gloucester shire: Gloucester Farthing Issued By Luke Norse 1657

Obverse: LVKE * NOVRSE * MAIOR * 1657 (star) surrounding C.G (R in field below the C).
Reverse: FOR . NECESSARY . CHANGE (star) surrounding the city shield.
