I suggest that it should be possible to upload multiple images in the book section, for these practical reasons:
- The back cover, which often contains additional useful information.
- The cover, when it doesn't contain text, can be very important for the visual identification of the book. But according to the guidelines, only the page containing the title should be downloaded. Sometimes, the cover helps distinguish a book based on its illustration or design.
Example: I couldn’t upload the cover because it doesn't contain the title, but it is still relevant for identifying the book. An open book, like in this example, doesn't always present well in terms of visual appeal and coherence with other books in the catalog. I think that both can be preserved by adding the possibility of uploading several images.
