Unfortunately, we again find year lines with comments not documented. I just got a 2007 (no gap) in a swap. Does anybody know what to look for? I can guess,  it's the joint between the outer and inner ring, but how can I be sure?

I just saw that my graphic about the 2004 10 baht coins was not included as documentation. I made the CR just now.

Hi,

If you have the coins of year 2535/3536/3538/2548 or 2551 in UNC, you can make a comparison. All of the year I mentioned are type I only.

Type I coins are well made, no gap, and not quite shiny.

Type II coins have gap thay could make some inscriptions parts disappear around the gap. They are very shiny and highly reflect light in UNC.

Type II year 2549 have thinner “๙” on obverse.

There are also varieties in other years that I haven't splitted.

Year 2537 and 2539 each have 3 varieties. One has samp property as type I and thick reeds, one has shiny property and may have thinner rim reverse and thick reeds, and the last is shiny type but thin reeds.

You can also send me pictures, or use “register example” function to add your coin and I will give you the exact subtype.
