5,055 new users joined Numista in January 2025, increasing the total member tally by 1.8%. Oh look at that, a new monthly record, again. Amazing, it wasn't even close to the last record (4,488) set in August 2024. Bested it by 12%!
This January's new members added 101,000 items into their collections. 19% of January's new users appear to be active and 9% are not publicly visible.
4,779 of January's new members selected a nation. 765 are American, 698 are French, 299 are Indian ,238 are British, and 202 are Canadian. 143 nations are represented this month, and 81 of them have added at least one item to their collections.
There were notable surges in memberships from Afghanistan, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Guatemala, Ivory Coast, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mozambique, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saint Helena, Serbia, Slovakia, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States.
Anguilla, Aruba, Bahamas, British Indian Ocean Territory, British Virgin Islands, Chad, Congo, Djibouti, Ghana, Greenland, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Isle of Man, Kuwait, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Martinique, Mauritius, Montenegro, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Qatar, Senegal, Sint Maarten, Somalia, Sudan and Tristan da Cunha each gained one new member.

Of the top 20 nations, Mexico grew the fastest in January (4.1% increase), while Italy grew the slowest (0.5%). The USA grew by 1.5% and France grew by 1.9%.
