Every year I try to look for a penny with that year, and then I add it to my collection. Last year it took me until December to find a 2024 penny. So does anyone have a 2025 penny they’re willing to swap?

Using the pull-down menus, select "Circulating Coins" for the Program and then "2025" for the year and click "Submit". Note that this particular report is only updated monthly and the U.S. Mint is sometimes slow to update it.
If you're interested in the main reporting page itself for the U.S. Mint, you would go here:
I had the same experience. Took till December of last year for me to find a 2024. Still haven't found a 2024-D but I'm on the east coast so that's expected I suppose.
Oh, and I've yet to find a Nickel of either mint for 2024.
For some reason, Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, and Quarters had very low mintage numbers last year
Pennies dropped from almost 8 billion in 2021 to 3.2 billion last year
Nickels dropped from 1.4 billion to 110 million
Dimes dropped from 2.7 billion to 550 million
And Quarters dropped from 2.7 billion to 1.7 billion But Half Dollars had higher than average mintage numbers, going from 9 million in 2022 to 58 million in 2023 and 38 million in 2024
Dollar Coins have varying mintage numbers, but the mintage numbers have stayed between 1 and 4 million since 2017, with 2.2 million being minted last year

If as much coins minted in January is minted every other month in the year, the there should be 2.9 billion Pennies, 980 million Nickels, 1.5 billion Dimes, 2 billion Quarters, 115 million Half Dollars, and 28.5 million Dollar Coins minted this year

Pennies are usually the first one found. I use less and less change each year, but I still haven't found a dime or nickel from last year in circulation yet, or one of the women's quarters.
Today I got 3 of the 2024 American women quarters, which means I now have all 5 American women quarters minted in 2024. And since I have 2 from 2022 and 2 from 2023, I have 9 out of the 15 American Womem Quarters, excluding the 5 minting this year.

I only have 3 of the ladies from 2024 as well. I did ask for a roll of quarters the other day from the bank and it was all Zitkala-sa in AU, so I've got about 5 extra to swap. Philadelphia mints.
Suppose I'm getting off topic, but the US Mint in Philadelphia does have a change machine they keep filled with the freshest quarters. Nice way to keep up the collection if I find an excuse to run downtown. A shame they don't use fresh coins for change from all purchases in the gift shop….
The mint updated their production amounts for February
If the mintage numbers stayed the same, there should be 3.5724 Billion Pennies, 937.44 Million Nickels, 1.446 Billion Dimes, 1.2483 Billion Quarters, 68.4 Million Halves, and 18.48 Million Dollar Coins

I've found 2024-D pennies, but not any Ps. Also, haven't found any 2024 nickels. Apparently, they have a lower mintage and people are selling them for a premium on E-Bay.
For quarters, after hunting 40+ boxes over the last 12 months, found:
Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray (released 2/1/24) – both D and P
Patsy Takemoto Mink (released 3/25/24) – both D and P
Dr. Mary Edwards Walker (released 6/3/24) – D only

Celia Cruz (released 8/5/24) – D only
Zitkala-Ša (released 10/1/24) – none
Halves: 2023-D, -P and 2024-Ds are very common.
Haven't seen any 2025 coins yet.
I have reduced my cash usage, but I am yet to find a nickel or dime from 24 of any kind. Zitkala Sa I have found a handful of D's but only recently in the last few weeks. I am yet to find a Celia Cruz, though I don't hunt through rolls at all. I'm also yet to see a 2025, but it's typically just pennies this early.

Looks like mintages were down across the board in 2024 vs 2023.
Dime and nickel were quite a bit lower, 80% and 92% respectively.
The only two that didn’t have lower than average mintage numbers were the two that aren’t commonly used, The Dollar Coin having average mintage numbers (for the Native American dollars), while the Half Dollar has much higher than average mintage numbers.
And if my estimate of 2025 mintage numbers is correct, than the dollar coins will have their highest mintage numbers since 2016 (when the presidential dollar coins stopped minting), and Halves will have their highest mintage numbers since 1980, while the other 4 will have about half of their normal mintage numbers

I thought Donald had said NYET to minting 1 cent coins?
Apparently not. Seems that it’s on the Orange Man’s wish list, but it hasn’t happened yet because Congress needs to approve it
More coins will be minted.
Get the price of chicken eggs on the market, Look at how the price has gradually risen and will rise and then multiply it by the coefficient "N", the set of infinity ∞
I see it this way:
The more eggs you get, the more pennies you will get.

You lost me at coefficient

How the hell does a 2025 quarter cost less than a 2025 penny?
The 2025 quarters are being sold for between $1-1.75 each, while the average price for a 2025 penny goes from $2 to $4 each, with $2 being the cheapest I could find

… the dollar coins will have their highest mintage numbers since 2016 (when the presidential dollar coins stopped minting)…
There was a presidential dollar minted in 2020, after George H.W. Bush died. I imagine, if Congress approves it, there will be another one for Jimmy Carter some time in the near future.
They are already in circulation. I just got this an hour ago.
I’m pretty sure they’ve been in circulation for a while, but people collected them like crazy because of the […] president we have
Maybe 2025 will truly be a magical year for pennies. Either it will be the year of the last real eggs or it will be called the year without eggs.
The price of eggs will break records and maybe even the president will be dragged to the House of Representatives to explain it. And maybe they'll rip them off.😁😁🤣😂
Ivan
Above all, we collectors across the pond should treat each other well and let's find a way to get the 2025 one-cent coins into the EU.

If I find more than one I will set a swap up with anyone looking for one, the reason why for more than one is because I always keep the first one I find of each year (I currently have my first 2022, 2023, & 2024 pennies in a small bag, I would have more if I didn’t lose them)

A president must have been deceased for 2 years prior to the minting. President Carter's coin will be minted in the first quarter of 2027 most likely.
Noticed in these replies that several posters have no swaplists or confirmed trades…wondered why they're on numista.
There are 283,915 Numista members as of today. Of those 2,173 (0.8%) have a swap list. The vast majority of Numista members have no interest in swapping.

That’s an amazing number of swaps! I probably couldn’t handle that much
The highest number of rated swaps of a current member is 962.
Given these amounts, There would be 3.6936 Billion Pennies, 924.64 Million Nickels, 1.354 Billion Dimes, 1.497 Billion Quarters, 55.2 Million Halves, and 17.92 Million Dollar coins

The site wasn't designed only or mainly for swapping. It was designed as a catalog and swapping is just one of the features. I use it to keep track of my collection as it's easier to find what I have on here than it is pulling up an excel file when I am at my local shop or a coin show.
I was trying to find them myself, but it appears that I just couldn’t
Dang, I just went back and dug through my change I could have swore I had a couple, I know I had one the other day and I sat it on my table and now it's walked away. :( On the bright side while I was digging through the jar of change I brought in from my car center console, I found this! and a hand full of 2024-D pennys.

That's hardly the only purpose of this site and far from a requirement.
But why come on a site designed for swapping coins if you're not a swapper? Seems like a waste of time
“There are 283,915 Numista members as of today. Of those 2,173 (0.8%) have a swap list. The vast majority of Numista members have no interest in swapping.”
So you're suggesting that 99.2% (essentially all) of the Numista members are wasting their time here? Really?

I don't have any real opinions as I'm still pretty new but I can say from my experience that I was a lurker and used the site to manage and catalog my own items. I had no interest in swapping at all and my primary use for the site was more like a wiki combined with a library management tool. It was only after making a few submissions and having some interaction with referee's and members on the forum that I felt comfortable looking deeper into swapping and giving it a try. This also led to a somewhat growing addiction to buying bulk bags of foreign coins every time I see one.

Hunted a box of pennies the other day. There were at least half a dozen 20025-Ds.
20025!? Where‘d you get pennies from 18 thousand years in the future?
Obviously from the future. 😄

Here is the worst of the two. The other one is AU. The other one is in a flip. My girl friend use to make fun of me for picking everything up. Till i add up one year and it was over 30 dollars.
Oh man, that brings back some memories, I don't know if we have any left in Oklahoma. Walmart has pretty much ran all the classic Grocers out of business here.
