This coin page is crashing my browser, and its the only one.

Same happening here.

That page starts to load, and a bunch of it displays, but then the tab becomes so unresponsive that I couldn't even hit “back” to come back to the forum. No amount of clicking “stop” or “back” or typing into the address bar and clicking Go made any difference. I had to kill the tab and open a new one to get back here.

I'm on Android, using Chrome.

Something strange is going on with Android Chrome. The first time I tried the page was partially displayed and loading for a long time, and then went blank. The second time there was a long load time, and then the page froze for a long time, and then it was fully visible.

I Firefox on Android and Firefox and Chrome on Ubuntu and didn't see any issues with the page.

Does it happen with all pages that have Persian (nastaliq)?

Does it happen with all pages that have Persian (nastaliq)?

I didn't click through all 200+ of them but i did some at random to test and they seemed fine.

But i lt could very well be a specific unicode character display issue on Android from what the other comments say.

And judging by the downvotes this post gets for some reason it doesn't seem to be problem on PC.

Just tested on my Android (Chrome browser) phone and indeed it happens. It works nicely on PC.

I could reproduce the issue with N#21670 too, which also has nastaliq lettering.

I have had the same issue with the 1 rial Jerusalem day N#1700

Hello,

We deactivated the Nastaliq font on Android, so that the browser doesn't crash anymore.

Hello,

The Nastaliq font is not causing the browser to crash anymore, as far as we could test. So we activated it back on all browsers.

Confirmed, those all work for me now, same as they did when the font was disabled (but didn't work when the thread was initially posted.

Super weird. Glad the font magically fixed itself!
