Looking at the list of issuing entities for notes from North Macedonia, there are some improvements that should be made.
1. There are currently 2 issuing entities listed on the site but they are duplicates of one another.
National Bank of North Macedonia
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/issuing_entity.php?id=931
National Bank of the Republic of Northern Macedonia
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/issuing_entity.php?id=4034
As these 2 entities are representing the same thing, they should be merged. The name of the issuing bank, per the note text, is “National Bank of the Republic of Northern Macedonia” (per the banknote text and the banks website), so this is the name of the final entity that is kept.
2. The local name of the final entity should be included in once the current entities are combined. The local name is “Народна банка на Република Северна Македонија”.
3. A new issuing entity should be added to ensure the accuracy of the issuing entities for the notes issued prior to the countries name change. Before the countries name change, the bank was called “National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia” (local name “Народна Банка на Република Македонија”). A second entity for the bank prior to the name change should be added so the banknotes can be set to the proper bank depending on their year of issue and so the assigned entity matches the text on the notes.
