You did nothing wrong.  Sjoelund was suggesting  you try the Numista search the catalog by image.  I did but it's not in the Numista catalog.  It's a tourist souvenir from the  Saint Pierre Cathedral in Geneva, Switzerland. It's probably brass and does not have much value, maybe $3 US.
