Later this month (23 January) I will be taking delivery of the Canadian 2025 “First Strikes” and 50-Cent coins. Here is a brief description, from the Royal Canadian Mint, describing these coins.
Five denominations of Canadian coinage—$2, $1, 25¢, 10¢, 5¢
- First Strikes of 2025. 2025-dated circulation coins struck at the Winnipeg, Canada facility on the first day of production.
- Limited supply. Only 7,000 Special Wrap Roll Collections: First Strikes are available to collectors worldwide.
Also, the much sought after 50-cent
- A favourite. The 50-cent coin’s limited annual mintage and timeless heraldic design have made it a collector favourite.
- Limited supply. Just 25,000 rolls are available to collectors worldwide.
I am prepared to swap a set of six coins to interested collectors. Obviously, all will be UNC. A set of six coins can be mailed by letter vs small package.
Interested collectors should send me a message to that effect and I will start developing a list and swaps to cover these coins. In that I do pay a premium for these coins from the mint, I expect their swap price to be similar to that of the 2024 Canadian circulation coins currently in Numista.
