Any one have info on this?
Consecutive serial numbers are the way banknotes are issued.
They appear to be 1995 & from Atlanta (P-497) with 150,000,000 issued (from what I can see). There is nothing unusual about them (there's no premium when folded) & most small Federal Reserve notes from the 1950's till today should be UNC (no folds, etc) to be collectible. I understand that most $2.00 notes don't circulate much (& they aren't produced in as great numbers as the other denominations in the US) so Americans don't see them & often assume they're unusual or collectible.
