Hello there,

Is it possible to edit this so it has a bullion value? it was changed on the 10 nuevos pesos but i think there are other similar denominations in various years..

many thanks, Graeme

The system can’t do that since the only weight available is for both the center and outer ring.

ok thanks, i'm sure in the past it was changed for this coin;10 Nuevos Pesos - Mexico – Numista

to give a bullion value for the 5.6 grams of silver in the central part but it does now seem to have no bullion value again

You're probably thinking of this post where you asked the same question and got the same answer.  https://en.numista.com/forum/topic147776.html

yes ok, i must have imagined it changed to have a bullion value! thank you

Hello,

It contains .1667 oz of silver.

So with silver at $30.15 per Troy ounce,  the coin contains approximately $5.03 worth of silver.

Yes, similar to a 90% US quarter or sterling silver shilling coin.. thank you, Graeme

I think you're confusing the 100 Pesos coin with the 10 Nuevos Pesos coin. Obviously there's much more silver in the 100 Pesos coin.

According to Schön, the center of these 100 Pesos coins weigh 16.81 g. of .925 silver, that's about 14.72 euro worth of silver.

Thanks. I was just working on calculating an estimate of the silver.  So ½ oz. pure silver.

Good catch!  I mistook it for the 10 peso version.
